Macada Properties Appoints Brian Hardner as Senior Vice President of Facilities and Construction
Allentown, Pa. – June 12, 2018 – Macada Properties announced that it has named Brian Hardner its new Senior Vice President of Facilities and Construction. An accomplished, forward-thinking healthcare professional and registered architect, Mr. Hardner has more than 22 years of experience in operations management, master planning, design and construction, finance, clinical programming, business planning, project management, strategic planning, negotiation and innovation.
Brian brings a unique set of talents, including high-level expertise in architectural planning, real estate, healthcare, network capital and management and given that Macada’s clients and projects continue to expand at an ambitious pace, Brian is positioned to lead in that evolution and growth.
In his role as Senior Vice President of Facilities and Construction, Mr. Hardner will be responsible for integrating and developing corporate strategy for Macada Properties’ growing portfolio of healthcare clients. He will interface directly with the leadership team of Macada’s largest client, Coordinated Health, and collaborate on development opportunities across Coordinated Health’s locations in the Lehigh Valley, Northeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Mr. Hardner served as Vice President, Facilities & Construction at Lehigh Valley Health Network for more than 11 years. During this time, he served as the corporate leader for all real estate functions across approximately 4 million square feet of facilities, including administrative sites, 16 ambulatory centers and more than 150 physician practice locations. He successfully led efforts to develop single source project delivery for projects totaling more than $300 million, and co-chaired a strategic planning steering committee for those new projects.
He has a Master of Business Administration from DeSales University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University, with a Senior Executive Program certificate from the American College of Healthcare Executives. He belongs to the American Institute of Architects and is a Registered Architect in Pennsylvania.
